Our Philosophy

Sustainability

In today’s competitive business environment it becomes more and more important to not only state that a company performing their business in a responsible and successful manner, but also providing proof that it is so.

It is well established that we globally consume raw materials at a rate that is not sustainable. Consumers are becoming increasingly aware of this and want to be able to make sustainable choices.

Transparency

In order to make sustainable choices, mechanisms for transparency regarding sustainability aspects must be in place, so that the consumer can easily see and assess how well a product meets relevant sustainability requirements. Not only its content during manufacturing, but also be able to follow the product’s total sustainability footprint, and also be able to see that the manufacturers actually takes their recycling responsibilities. These mechanisms must be an integral part of not only the product, but in the long run also for society! If all relevant data for a product individual is available and you can ensure its authenticity, and that quantitative tools are made publicly available with open specifications, then we can democratize knowledge about the sustainability foot print for all products.

Longer Life Cycles

Efficient recycling is simply not possible without knowing the constituents of what is recycled. Every part of the product needs to be known when it is recycled. But for more complex products, not all parts will reach the end of life at the same time. Through maintenance and replaced parts, the products overall life time can be substantially increased. This also means that the replacement parts need to be tracked as well, as the original parts may be recycled long before the product itself reaches end of life.

Trust

Product value chains often involve several actors with different responsibilities during different phases of the product’s life cycle. How a product is handled can significantly affect its lifespan, it is therefore important to be able to objectively assess a product’s state of health based on data on the product’s use. In connection with transfers of responsibility and ownership, the health status of the product, as well as the fact that use has taken place within any contractual terms, are important, as they can, for example, affect the value of the product.

One of the central cornerstones of our offering is to offer holistic security for the collection and record-keeping of product individuals’ sensor data and liability transactions.

Innovation

Anyone who does not improve their product or service becomes outcompeted and irrelevant in the long run. In order to develop your product and offering, strategic industry knowledge is needed. The ability to gain insights into how the product is actually used, but also an infrastructure that enables you to quickly update your product and offer.
